The Greville Theatre Club is an amateur drama group based in the North West corner of the county of Essex, England. We produce 2 major productions per year, each Spring and each Autumn, which we perform in the historic Barn Theatre in the village of Little Easton, just a few miles to the North of Great Dunmow.

Our Next Production

Our next spring production will be SALT OF THE EARTH a comedy-drama by John Godber. This will take place at the Barn Theatre, Little Easton from 25th May to 2nd June 2012.

John Godber’s play spans three generations of decent honest working class folk from a West Yorkshire mining town, making the best of what they have and the most of every opportunity they are given.

A story of love and loss, dreams and disappointment, community, culture, humour and heartache.

We are looking for new members

We are a very friendly but committed group with a large and loyal following.  We take our work seriously but it's always fun too!  We urgently need more people to join us - to act, work backstage with set design and construction, lighting and sound, costume making, food preparation and generally help us continue providing excellent entertainment in this fine old theatre.

If you are looking for an interesting and rewarding activity in the Great Dunmow area and think this might be for you, then E-Mail Us and let us know by sending us a message with your contact details, and we'll be in touch.  Alternatively, you can contact our Secretary, Carole Stanton-Miller, on 01371 873772.  You don't have to act and no experience is necessary, but enthusiasm and a sense of humour are essential!
