Open-mic Theatre at the Three Horseshoes,
Saturday 6th August.

Do you perform in any way? By that we mean anything - act, sing, play, tell jokes, read poetry, do magic tricks, juggle etc etc……??
If so, then we invite you to apply to come and perform your “party piece” as part of our “Open Mic” event on the Garden Stage at the Three Horseshoes, Duton Hill, on Saturday, 6th August, starting at 6pm.
Members of the Greville will be performing various short comedy sketches, plays or monologues, giving the event a slant towards drama, but as a non-member, you can perform anything you want, together with friends or on your own, provided it:
•    Is no longer than around 7-8 minutes,
•    Isn’t offensive or too rude to be performed to families,
•    Requires no time-consuming setting up beforehand.
If you want to perform a piece of drama or comedy, but don’t have the time to learn the lines, then don’t worry! This is intended to be a very informal event – you can perform with a script in hand if you like!
The stage will have boundary mics fitted, and later in the evening it will be lit.
The event will come to an end when all the performances are finished, or at around 10:00pm, whichever comes first (!) so, if we have too many applications to fit in, performances will be selected on a first come, first served basis.
We will need to know in advance what people would like to perform, so that we can programme the running order beforehand. So if you’d really love to take part, or want to know more about it before deciding, please drop us a line by using our
CONTACT page, giving us a few details of what you might like to perform on the night, or give David Bone a ring on 07703 492061.
We look forward to hearing from you !
