Francis Durbridge’s play, Suddenly At Home, is a thriller for four men and four women. When Glenn Howard, a busy executive, decides to get rid of his wealthy wife Maggie, firstly to enjoy her money, secondly to avoid spending the rest of his life in boring luxury in remote Bermuda, and thirdly to free himself for another woman, he works out a complicated and devious plan to keep himself in the clear.

Maggie (Jan Ford) reveals her plans for a new life in Bermuda to her sister Sheila (Diana Bradley).

Maggie's former lover Sam Blaine (James Rawes) arrives to muddy the waters.

Inspector Appleton (Adrian Hoodless) brings news that Maggie's body has been found.

Supt Remick (Steve Bradley) has some very searching questions about Maggie's death.

Glenn (Adam Thompson) after suffocating his wife, tries to cover his tracks and throw suspicion onto others.

Glenn's narcotics befuddled lover Sheila (Karen Ashton) realises that suspicion is falling onto her.

Maggie's au-pair Ruth (Mel Murfin), Glenn's partner in crime, prepares to do away with Sheila.
