It was with great pleasure that this year we welcomed back Jan Ford (Director of "Cider with Rosie" 2 years ago), to produce and direct this production after she decided she needed a long rest from her involvement in theatre work. The result was the best piece of theatre the Greville has done since...........well the last Jan Ford production, actually.

Every Town has its
Shakers, the oh-so trendy cocktail bar where everybody wants to be seen, from the check out girls to the chinless wonders, from the yuppies to the local lads tittering at the thought of a "Long Slow Comfortable Screw". With "Shakers", we are given a wickedly funny glimpse of this world, given by four long suffering waitresses, giving a fascinating view of the reality that lurks behind the plastic palms and pina coladas.

The four stars of the show: Diana Bradley, Esther Rowland, Karen Ashton and Carol Parradine

"Daz"
"Trev",

"They've come to get themselves a bev, and some skirt"

(On Stealth Bikes?)

" Take them off, Nikki, before I rip them off you!"

" It's cold outside, but they don't care. a Bermuda T-Shirt is all they wear!"
