Our
Next Production
Our next production will be "Katherine
Howard" by William Nicholson. This will take place at the Barn
Theatre, Little Easton from 27th May to 5th June 2010.
Opening on the wedding night of Henry VIII and his fourth wife, Anne
of Cleves, and closing with the execution of his fifth wife, Katherine
Howard, found guilty of adultery, William Nicholson's play takes a
slice of Tudor history and turns it into pure theatrical magic.
A touching May-to-September romance; political intrigue, plots and
betrayals; a pointed and sometimes comic portrayal of women's lives in
Tudor times: all these, and more, are elements of this entertaining,
thoughtful and intelligent play from the author of Shadowlands.
The box office opens 26th April: call 01371
872640, for tickets.

We are looking for
new members!
We are a very
friendly but committed group with a large and loyal following;
we take our work seriously but it's always fun too! We urgently need
more people to join us - to act, work backstage, sew, paint,
hammer, prepare food and generally help us continue providing
excellent entertainment in this fine old theatre. If you are
looking for an interesting and rewarding activity in the Great Dunmow area
and think this might be for you, then
E-Mail
Us and let us know by sending us a message with your contact
details, and we'll be in touch. You don't have to act (but if you
want to that's great!), and no experience is necessary, but enthusiasm
and a sense of humour is
essential!
