Following a number of hugely successful light-hearted comedies or comedy dramas in recent productions. We decided to "Shake the Tree" a little this time.
Gabriel is a tense, absorbing and, although occasionally funny, more often disturbing story of moral borderlines set in wartime Guernsey.

A naked young man is washed up on the beach close to a farmhouse inhabited by 3 women and a young girl. Unnervingly handsome, he's fluent in in both German and English but has no recollection of who he is...... British Pilot or SS man? Innocent or madman? Saviour or dark angel? Here are some shots of the cast:

Jeane Becquet (Madeline Harmer)

and Major Von Pfunz (David Bone)

Gabriel

(Adam Thompson)

Margaret Lake

(Lynda Shelverton)

Lily (Carol Parradine, L)
